Join us for our Military Preview Weekend
and get to know the Michigan Ross community.

Learn more about our MBA curriculum, action-based learning opportunities, student life, and recruiting. Partners are welcome and will have the chance to connect with members of the Partners Club at Ross.

Event Schedule

U-M Marine Corps Birthday Celebration (optional, RSVP required)

Join as the Marine Corps at U-M celebrate 247 years of service to our nation! On Nov. 10, Marines around the world cut a traditional cake in celebration of the Corps' birth. In light of this tradition, the Michigan Ross Armed Forces Association (AFA) will host a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the Marine Corps' 247th birthday.

Winter Garden

Check In will run from 2:30-3:30 pm in our Winter Garden. You may arrive any time in this window. If you plan to attend the 2:45 p.m. Ross building tour, please arrive by 2:30 p.m.

Join members of the Ross Armed Forces Association, Alumni, Current students, partners, faculty, and staff at a pre-reception before Vetx. Heavy appetizers will be served.

To honor Veterans Day, the Ross School of Business Armed Forces Association hosts VETx, a series of veteran speakers sharing the experiences that made them the leaders they are today. VETx is your chance to connect with the Ross veteran community to hear about some of the hardest-earned lessons and insights, firsthand.


Armed Forces Association (AFA) Happy Hour
7-9 p.m.
Garage Bar - 618 Church St.

Close out the evening with an opportunity for informal social connection with current students, partners, and alumni at our AFA Happy Hour, located at nearby Garage Bar (walking distance from Ross). 
 

Shuttle departs hotel for Ross School of Business
8:45 a.m.

Shuttle begins loading at 8:30 a.m. and departs Hyatt Place hotel in Ann Arbor at 8:45 a.m. heading to Ross School of Business.

Mock Class: Crisis Leadership with Professor Mike Barger

Experience a mock class at Ross with Professor Mike Barger, Assistant Clinical Professor of Business Administration and U.S. Navy Veteran, addressing how to lead an organization through times of challenge.


Life After Ross - Alumni Perspectives

Hear from Ross alumni about why Ross is a good fit for veterans and their partners/families as they share personal anecdotes about student life, their career journeys, and more.


Football Watch Party with Current Students and Alumni
Noon - 3 p.m.
Pizza House - 618 Church St.

Close out the weekend in true Michigan style with a football watch party at Pizza House (walking distance from Ross) as the Wolverines take on Penn State. Members of the partners and family club at Ross will also be in attendance.

 Registration is required for attendance at Military Preview Weekend. Registration closed on October 20, 2023. We are unable to accept late registrations at this time.

Hotel accommodations are covered by Admissions on the nights of Nov. 10 and Nov. 11.

If you’d like to stay additional days, you are welcome to book the additional night(s) on your own. Hotel information will be provided the week of October 30.

We highly encourage you to reach out to current students who share your career and club interests. If you would like to connect with a member of the Armed Forces Association, we recommend you to reach out and a current student will follow up.

If you would like to schedule a meeting with representatives from Michigan Ross centers and institutes, contact them directly.

Ross waives the $200 application fee for current or former members of the U.S. military.
