Career Background

Amy Wildstein is the Founder and Managing Partner of Suttona Capital (“Suttona”). She has over 25 years of experience in private equity and venture capital. Ms. Wildstein is a thematic investor, with deep expertise in investing in tech-enabled consumer brands. Ms. Wildstein launched Suttona in 2021, building upon the strategy of Springboard Growth Capital, which she co-founded with Kay Koplovitz in 2016. Suttona makes growth-stage investments in women-led companies in the consumer sector. Areas of focus include digitally native brands, marketplaces, and tech-enabled service companies.

Ms. Wildstein currently manages eighteen investments in a concentrated portfolio of seven portfolio companies in consumer categories including beauty, food & beverage, health & wellness, apparel/accessories, and home. The portfolio includes Hint, Daily Harvest, Mindbody, Hint, Aquis, K18 and Fleur du Mal.

Ms. Wildstein started her career at the Blackstone Group, working on buyouts and growth equity investments across a range of industries. Subsequently, she joined Morgan Stanley Capital Partners where she evaluated and structured investments for the firm’s $2.0 billion private equity fund focusing on buyouts and growth equity investments in consumer, media, technology, and healthcare sectors.

Ms. Wildstein is a co-founder of Solera Capital, a private equity fund launched in early 2000 by an investment team of all women, and Boldcap Ventures, an investment club with all women investors investing in early to mid-stage companies in media/ technology and life sciences. She has served on the National Advisory Board of Springboard Enterprises and has been involved as a mentor and coach to Springboard companies for two decades. Ms. Wildstein has served on public and private boards in the consumer, media, technology, and healthcare sectors.

Her current board and advisory roles include Hint, Fleur du Mal, New York Fashion Tech Lab Expert Network. the Ross School Advisory Board, Michigan Social Venture Fund, and the Springboard Enterprises National Advisory Board. Ms. Wildstein received a Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Michigan.
