SCHEDULE

The Korea session is scheduled from Sunday, February 23 to Sunday, March 22. Check in begins at 2:00 pm on Feb. 23 and students are expected to check by 3:00 pm. The program will begin with an orientation at 4:00 p.m., followed by dinner.
Rooms are reserved to check in on February 23 and check out on March 22. If you would like to check in early or stay later, you may be able to benefit from our group discount, subject to room availability. Please contact the Global MBA Office at [email protected] with your request in advance.
Students who are required to take an overnight flight to arrive at the hotel by 3:00 pm may plan to arrive on February 22. Please contact the Global MBA Office at [email protected] with your request in advance.

FACILITY

The course will be held at the Center Mark Hotel (CMH) located in downtown Seoul. CMH is a fully equipped business hotel opened in 2012 located in the culturally rich Insa-Dong area in the heart of Seoul. City Hall Plaza, Gyungbok and Changdeok palaces, and the famous Myung-Dong shopping district are all within walking distance. Students will be required to do group assignments in the evening; therefore, you are required to stay at CMH.

FLIGHT TO SEOUL

Seoul Incheon Airport (ICN) is the main gateway for international travelers but for students flying in from Beijing, Osaka, Shanghai, Taipei and Tokyo, Gimpo International Airport (GMP) could be a better option. Gimpo Airport is a small airport located very close to downtown Seoul while Incheon Airport is further away.
Non-stop flight to Gimpo is available from Beijing Capital (PEK), Osaka Kansai (KIX), Shanghai Hongqiao (SHA), Taipei Songshan (TSA), and Tokyo Haneda (HND).
Regardless of when you fly in, please send your flight number and arrival time to the Global MBA Office at [email protected] by Feb. 7 so that we know your schedule.

AIRPORT TO CENTERMARK HOTEL

CMH is 60 km away from Seoul Incheon Airport (ICN). If this is your first trip to Seoul, we recommend you to use taxi or airport shuttle bus.
Airport train (AREX) is a convenient and cheap option to reach downtown Seoul but we do not recommend it if you haven’t used it before. It requires using a taxi from Seoul Station to CMH but the transit is difficult for those who do not speak Korean and have heavy luggage.
A regular taxi will cost about 65,000 Won (approximately $56) including the expressway toll fee. A deluxe taxi (black taxi with yellow cap on top) will cost up to 50% more. Please pay the fare on the meter plus expressway toll. No need to pay a tip as it is not customary in Korea. Credit card is accepted for payment.
The airport shuttle bus (Bus No. 6005) cost much less and is quite convenient. The ride will take about 90 minutes. The fare is 15,000 Won (approximately $14) if you pay cash. If you pay with T-Money card, the fare is 13,000 Won. T-Money card is a card for all public transportation (airport train, subway, city bus, taxi) in Metro Seoul area. T-money card is available for purchase at all convenient stores at the airport. CHM is just about 200M walk away from the Insa-dong Stop.
For students who fly into Gimpo Airport (GMP), we recommend a taxi. Subway is available but we do not recommend it to students who are not familiar with the city’s transportation system and haul heavy luggage. CMH is 22 km from Gimpo Airport and a regular taxi will cost about 24,000 Won (approximately $21).
