Class of 2024

Prior to Ross, I worked at a Japanese bank for about ten years both in the Commercial Banking and Investment Banking areas, and my latest assignment was handling the U.S. regulatory matters in the New York branch. Before that, I spent three years in the debt capital market of IB and another three years as a client manager in the corporate finance area. In addition, I have an interest in sustainability, especially in the environmental factor. I majored in Energy and Environmental Engineering as an undergraduate and was a part of several ESG-relevant initiatives such as green bonds and net-zero CO2 emissions throughout my finance career.

I decided to an MBA to enhance my leadership and problem-solving skills based on the experiences I worked with cross-functional teams and diverse members. Ross perfectly fits for me because of its action-based learning approach, collaborative spirit, and location. The location was specifically important for me because I moved to Ann Arbor with my wife and two kids. Happy to share my experience at Ross as well as my family experience at Ann Arbor.
