Class of 2023

Prior to Ross, I served in the Peace Corps in Morocco as a Development Specialist. I lived in a small town of 3,000 people in the Atlas Mountains and helped to both create and implement development projects based on demonstrated community need. After being involved in this kind of development work on the ground level, and experiencing the effects of lack of funding and resources first-hand, I became interested in the private sector's role in international development. I decided to come to Ross to learn more about that relationship, and also to discover how I can best use my skillset, background, and strengths to affect positive change on a larger scale. Ultimately, my desire to make a big career move and switch to the private sector is what led me to Ross. This program offered me the greatest opportunity for hands-on learning and the support of an incredible community, as well as the ability to add a dual-degree in Public Policy to round out my education.
