Andres de la Piedra

Andres de la Piedra

Class of 2024

I was born in Lima, Peru, but grew up in Pimentel, a coastal town in the north of the country, known for its unique pier and a fantastic beach. Before Ross, I worked at the Central Bank of Peru (BCRP) for six years in the Monetary Policy Operations Unit, which is charged with implementing the policy decisions in the Peruvian Financial markets.

There are many reasons behind my decision to attend Ross, ranging from the program's action-learning approach to the vibrant sports atmosphere. However, I would say that the Ross community was the most important factor to me, as I felt the strong support of students, admissions staff, and alums throughout the application process. Now, as an MBA Student, I can say that the support of the Ross community goes even further. Being surrounded almost every day by talented and humble people is something you can hardly find anywhere else.

I enjoy watching Formula 1, playing and watching soccer, and cooking in my free time. I would be happy to talk about my experience and answer any questions about Ross and the MBA application process!
