I spent six years before Ross working to make healthcare more accessible and equitable. Most recently, I built the operations from the ground up for a healthcare startup that recruited medical doctors to work in rural communities. I learned how to work with founders and entrepreneurs, establish customer relationships, and set up a company for success. This experience made me want to pursue an MBA to gain core business skills and become a better leader. I plan to use the MBA to find a job where I can make systems-level changes to the US healthcare system and lead teams towards ambitious goals! I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and spent ten years in Seattle prior to business school. I plan to return to the Pacific Northwest, where my partner and dog live, post-MBA.
