Anuj Gangwal

Prior to Ross, I funded, launched and designed social programs at the intersection of climate, technology, and impact at one of India’s largest philanthropic organizations, Tata Trusts. In my previous life, I also had stints with a solar start-up and as a tax consultant at EY (before you ask, no I still can’t help my relatives figure out their tax returns).

As I began thinking about my MBA, I wanted a program that would equip me with the necessary skills and networks to accelerate climate-positive initiatives in emerging economies and a community of like-minded changemakers. Ross easily stood out as the perfect fit not only for its breadth of offerings across strategy, sustainability, and management but also for its community that was warm, resourceful, and engaging.

In my 1 year in Ann Arbor, I know that the person who left Mumbai after 29 years in situ has found a second home and his people. Feel free to reach out to me to chat about consulting, careers in Sustainability as an international student, football (or soccer *eye-roll*), navigating this journey with an MBA partner or anything else under the sun!
