Prior to Ross, I was working with the restructuring advisory practice of Duff & Phelps. It was an interesting time to be in this space due to introduction of a new insolvency law in India and it put me in a spot where I was building things from the scratch and trying to find a sense of direction in ambiguity. I loved the challenge and it was a great learning experience. But after five years in the role, I now wanted to tackle a wider spectrum of business challenges and help develop growth strategies for firms looking to the future. So, I applied to B-schools to get a deeper business understanding and gain diverse perspectives from talented peers. I had wonderful discussions with Ross students during the application process and it gave me a better understanding of the school and made me realize that this is the place that I want to be. I wanted to be surrounded with supportive, encouraging and authentic people and somehow Ross has exceeded my lofty expectations.
