Class of 2022

I am from Rochester, MI and I attended the University of Michigan for my undergraduate where I studied biopsychology, cognition, and neuroscience along with entrepreneurship. I initially planned to apply to medical school following graduation, so I chose to pursue the Michigan Ross Master of Management degree to gain the business foundation required to own a medical practice. During the program, I realized that my interest in business and technology outweighed my passion for medicine. My favorite aspects of the program were the people I met, the interesting elective classes, and serving as a Philanthropy Chair on the executive board. Coming from such a big undergraduate college, I enjoyed the togetherness that came along with a smaller program. It was refreshing and interesting to learn alongside classmates from a variety of disciplines. I now work as a Quality Assurance Engineer at a software startup in the artificial intelligence/machine learning space. The flexibility that accompanies working at a startup has exposed me to important facets of business that I would not encounter at a large company and has allowed me to take on more responsibility.
