Chelsea Cloyd

Class of 2018

Prior to beginning my MBA at Ross, I earned my Bachelor of Arts at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where I studied Music Production & Engineering. I found my skill set was highly transferable to restaurant management. I worked at several restaurants in Boston and then moved to Ann Arbor where I managed at Aventura for three years.

I decided to pursue my MBA because I was eager to learn more about the business world and to expand my opportunities. The Weekend MBA program was a perfect fit for me. I learned so much from Ross's phenomenal professors and also from my classmates, who had an incredibly diverse range of experience.

As a direct result of attending Ross, I landed an internship with Amazon in their Pathways Operations program, and the experience I gained there helped me secure my current position as a Project Manager in the healthcare industry. My career has been unusual and one of the most valuable things I learned at Ross was how to craft my story to convey how my experiences and skills would be applicable in a new industry.
