I grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated from Northwestern with a degree in history and business. During college I gained an appreciation for my interest cultivating connections between people and within our larger ecosystem, and knew I wanted my career to have triple bottom line impact. After graduating I worked mainly in the nonprofit space, serving one year in AmeriCorps and then transitioning to the largest membership organization of state legislators in the country. My roles focused on relationship building, communications, research, and events. I then pivoted to my family business, which is a trucking and logistics provider. I decided to come to Ross to gain foundational business acumen, improve my critical thinking skills, and learn how to lead. Ross undoubtedly has the most passionate and diverse group of students I could find, and I’m thrilled to be part of this community. Post-MBA I plan to pivot into General Management with an impact focus. Ask me questions about career switching, the challenges of life as a generalist, whether you’ll have time for your dog during b-school, or where to find the best corn (Iowa). I look forward to connecting!
