Originally from Miami, I attended the University of Florida where I pursued a dual degree in Business Finance and Women's Studies. After graduating, I joined Teach for America in Charlotte, NC teaching math to 120 seventh graders! I quickly developed a passion for education and decided to stay in the classroom for another four years. Within education, I worked in and outside the classroom to ensure that leaders were making decisions to positively impact students and their learning. However, I knew that in order to contribute my business acumen at a higher level, I would need to pursue an MBA. I evaluated business schools based on a variety of learning opportunities and impact-driven involvement opportunities. Ultimately, I found a tight-knit community at Ross that supported my learning and overall career aspirations. Now a student, I am excited to share my own insights and experiences with future business students!
