After serving in the Air Force as an acquisition officer, I relocated back to the Midwest and transitioned into a career in private wealth management. I work on a team that manages investments and provides other customized wealth management services to high-net worth families as well as institutions such as endowments and foundations. Many of our clients are public company executives or private business owners with complex financial needs. Furthering my business education was a way to better relate with these clients. I began my wealth management career at U.S. Bank in Cincinnati but transitioned to Goldman Sachs in Chicago after recruiting at Ross in fall of my second year.
The Weekend MBA at Ross offered the opportunity to attend a premiere business school without taking time away from work for another career transition. Once I spoke with the admissions staff, current Weekend MBA students, and alumni, I knew that Ross was the perfect fit. The focus on action-based learning, the cohort model, and the global alumni network represented the value of a Ross education for an entire career. The Weekend MBA program provided the opportunity to gain these advantages as a Ross student while maintaining balance between school, work, and family.
