Gabriel Ruiz Herrera

I was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. Prior to Ross, I worked as a strategy consultant designing strategies for the biggest and most innovative financial firms in Mexico and Central America. I took the decision to study an MBA abroad to enhance my leadership skills and seek to transition into the Tech industry, but also experience a true community experience. The Ross MBA has already exceeded my expectations. It’s action-based approach has given me instant access to hands on experiences to develop my Tech skills. The Ross community has proven to be what all alumni mention, a close-nit group of students from different backgrounds, who you enjoy seeing every day, who have a truly interest in your story and are willing to help you through all the way of the process. No matter where you go, you will always find a fellow MBA student to share with. Additionally, football games and tailgating are just an indescribable amazing experience.
