George Lober

Prior to Ross I worked for the Business Council for Peace, a nonprofit organization that provides consulting services to small businesses in crisis-affected regions. I helped build out our inaugural U.S. program and loved working directly with small business owners. Before that, I spent three yers at WeWork where I primarily worked in a general management capacity. I came to business school because I was ready for a career pivot; I wanted to combine my desire to create impact with my personal passion for sports. Ross was the perfect fit for me. I was drawn by the mission of creating positive change through business, the sports business network, and the overall Ross community. Everyone I spoke to was eager to help me in any way possible, whether it was by making connections or sharing resources. This high level of collaboration and desire to help others is unique among business schools. This past summer, I worked at 2K Games on their internal strategy team. Outside of the classroom, I love to play any and all intramural sports, garden, cook, and ski. Go Blue!
