Prior to Ross, I worked as a Strategy Consultant for 4 years mostly working in the Consumer Products & Retail sector. I greatly enjoyed the work, but wanted to further develop my technical and managerial skills while exploring additional career opportunities and developing my professional network. I chose Ross because of its strong reputation in Consulting and Finance, the MAP program that allows students to have action based learning, and its lively student culture. As someone who never really imagined going back and getting an MBA, I was very focused on finding a program with a flexible curriculum that allowed me to study areas I was passionate about while providing me support in finding my right career fit. Post-graduation, I will be looking to return to Consulting or pivot into a role in Private Equity / Venture Capital to continue to pursue my passion for investing. While applying to schools, I found it extremely helpful to attend virtual info sessions as well as speak with current students to get a better feel for the campus environment. Outside of class in Ann Arbor, I enjoy golfing with classmates, playing on the Ross hockey team, and exploring the Ann Arbor restaurant scene.
