Jane Radecki

Class of 2024

Prior to Ross, I spent the last three plus years in NYC (although I was remote during the pandemic) working for a not-for-profit in higher education where I worked on strategy, research, and consulting for colleges and universities, libraries, governments, and academic publishers. I helped develop and conduct large scale research projects on topics ranging from research data services, university budgets, and the impacts of COVID-19 on the research enterprise. On top of that I worked on several internal strategy projects that I credit sparking my interest in corporate and internal strategy roles today. Before that I completed my Masters of Management at Ross and then briefly worked in private wealth management. I came to business school because I was ready for a career pivot; I wanted to combine my desire to create an impact and serve a greater good with my personal passion for learning, strategy, and pausing to zoom out and look at the big picture. While I have the soft skills, I knew it was time to go back to school to further develop my analytical skills. There are a lot of reasons I was drawn to Ross, but ultimately for me it comes down to two things: the culture and the people. Everyone I spoke to was eager and willing to help me and the sense of community that I have felt since starting my journey at Ross has been unparalleled. Outside of the classroom, I love to get outside, watch sports, check out new restaurants, and simply spend time with all the friends I have made. Go Blue!
