Class of 2020

As someone who has always had very ambitious career goals, pursuing an MBA has always been a goal of mine. I graduated from undergrad with a degree in Supply Chain Management and then moved to Atlanta to work in IT and process consulting. While I enjoyed the unique challenges that consulting had to offer, after over 3 years of demanding travel schedules (and many delayed flights home), I determined that I did not want to become a “career consultant”. I made the decision to move back to southeast Michigan and move into industry. As I reflected on my long-term goals after moving into my new role, I realized that it was the right time to pursue an MBA.

I was blown away by how responsive Ross community was any time I reached out with questions as I researched programs  (as a prospective student). Those experiences initially sparked my interest in joining the program and becoming a Student Ambassador. Furthermore, the Weekend MBA program has given me the opportunity to apply the curriculum of the program to my current role, and vice versa. I have also found that the ability to attend class on the weekends is much more cost-effective, since I do not have to give up working full-time. The Ross Weekend MBA has been a rewarding experience and I am happy to answer any questions you may have!
