Kai-chieh (Jake) Liang

Prior to Ross, I spent about two and a half years as an equity researcher and three years as a journalist. While my major covering had been tech industries and economics in both positions, I also covered public affairs and Blockchain technology when I was a journalist. Having been researching and writing reports for the tech industry and innovative technologies for years, I want to engage in developing products directly instead of continuing to observe them from a distance, which led me to the decision to pursue an MBA. I hope to make a career switch not only industry-wise but also location-wise., since the U.S. is a place of most updated products and thriving tech companies and startups, and I believe that an MBA degree, especially one in Ross, will definitely help me achieve my goal.
