Getting an MBA was not in my original life plan! I am a practicing physician in a small rural Midwest hospital system. Once I finished my medical training, I never dreamed that I would pursue another degree. However as life went on, I became interested in the environment outside the clinic, namely healthcare management and hospital operations. When the opportunity to be a part of the first Ross online MBA cohort arose, I jumped at the chance to be part of the Ross community. I knew I wanted a rigorous program with a strong history of excellence. The new online format is wonderful as it allows me to continue working full-time in a rural area while still attending a Top 10 business program.
