Accounting was a passion that I found after completing my undergraduate degree and working for two years. I chose the Ross MAcc because I knew the program would get me where I wanted to go - working full-time for a Big 4 firm and passing the CPA exam. The program was so special because it was the perfect balance of academic excellence and a family atmosphere. My class was small enough that we were very close, and I know that I made friends for life.
Recruiting was a crazy and exciting whirlwind! I was concerned because I did not do an internship and didn’t have a business undergraduate degree, but I had nothing to worry about! I was happy to find all doors open to me. Ross made it very easy to get to know all of the firms because they hosted a multitude of networking events on campus. Although I was very busy, all of my professors were understanding, and it was easy to manage all of the activities simultaneously. I was fortunate to receive multiple offers and accepted a position with PwC in Detroit.
