Before coming to Ross, I was a microfinance fellow for Kiva, helping increase access to capital for underserved communities through interest-free crowdfunded microloans. I first led the program in Milwaukee and then moved back home to train field partners in Vietnam. Before Kiva, I worked at Deloitte as an external auditor out of the Chicago office, providing financial statement audit services to clients across multiple industries. While I enjoyed both experiences, I wanted to find a way to combine them to pursue a career in the intersection of business and society. Thus, I decided to obtain an MBA to further develop my business skills and knowledge as well as explore career opportunities in the impact space. Ross was my top choice because of the school's rigorous social impact curriculum, strong focus on experiential learning and positive business, as well as diverse and collaborative community. I have grown in ways I couldn’t imagine possible before during my time at Ross so far and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Go Blue!
