I am from Philadelphia, PA and I attended Lehigh University for five years, earning a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting. At Lehigh, I also high jumped on the Men's Track & Field team. Before Ross, I worked in public tax accounting. I had an interest in numbers in a business setting and felt that understanding accounting was an advantage for anyone in the business field. I decided to come to business school to pivot out of Tax and into the Tech industry. I felt that Ross was the place to make that transition. Ross prides itself in action-based learning, and for me, learning business comes from doing business. My prior exposure to Tech was limited, but I knew Ross would provide me with the resources to switch industries confidently. Besides the ample opportunities to grow my skillset, Ross's community is what attracted me. I couldn't believe how many people I had never met were willing to support me during my recruiting process. I realized that it's simply the Ross culture, and for that, I am grateful to be a part of Ross's community.
