Marissa Simovski

Hello! My career path has been a unique blend of corporate and entrepreneurial endeavors. After graduating from the University of Michigan, I started my career in the Ford College Graduate (FCG) program at Ford Motor Company. A few years later, I pivoted into a consulting role at Willis Towers Watson. Currently, I work at BDO USA in an analytics role and own a liquid nitrogen ice cream shop (iFreeze Creamery). Pursuing an MBA, specifically from Ross, has always been a goal I have wanted to accomplish. I knew I wanted to continue to work at my corporate position and run my business while taking MBA classes - The Ross Weekend MBA program aligned perfectly for me to continue to do so. The diverse and inclusive Ross culture has been an invaluable experience. My favorite aspect has been connecting with peers from various backgrounds and learning from their unique perspectives. Post-MBA, my goal is to continue to scale iFreeze while also transitioning into a corporate finance or strategy-based position.
