Meredith Maimoni

Class of 2024

When I was going through the application process, Michigan Ross' mission to make a better world through business resonated with me deeply. I have always thought about the impact - both seen and unseen - that business has in the greater world, and how we can make that impact skew more toward net positive. I decided to pursue an MBA because I wanted to learn and practice the technical and leadership skills that would allow me to create greater change in the world.

Before Ross, I worked in business development, community engagement, and operations in the nonprofit sector. At Ross, I am focusing on deepening my technical abilities in operations through the Tauber Institute for Global Operations and in sustainability as a dual degree student with the School for Environment and Sustainability (through the Erb Institute). I am growing as a leader through involvements with my section, clubs on campus, and Sanger Leadership Center. While my personal learning journey won't end with my graduation from the University of Michigan, my time here has kick-started my development and brought me closer to becoming the leader I want to be.
