After graduating with a business degree from Villanova University, I worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC in the New York Metro office. I spent three plus years in the General Assurance Practice working in a variety of industries from Alcohol to Industrial Gases. During that time, my (now) wife was in a graduate program at the University of Michigan in Engineering. Every time I visited the Ann Arbor campus it was a dream to even consider attending such a renowned business school and be apart of the Michigan family. Fast forward and I accepted an opportunity with Domino’s Pizza Inc. within their Internal Audit Department in Ann Arbor. In my current role, my priorities are split between compliance - testing the operating effectiveness of financial internal controls, and operational audits that allow me to truly understand what makes a company great.
I always felt that pursuing an MBA would help me advance my career in many positive ways but struggled with the idea of having to step away from the growth opportunities in the corporate world. Moving to Michigan turned out to be the greatest decision I ever made: I married my best friend, got a dog, and was accepted into the Ross WMBA program! Ross affords me the opportunity to continue to grow in my current role, as well as provides the opportunity to learn and grow with the action-based learning approach with experienced faculty, vast resources, and with classmates who are equally as talented and motivated to be their best. If you have any questions, feel free to send me an e-mail and we can connect. Happy to help anyone and especially former public accountants! Go BLUE!
