Before enrolling at Ross, I wavered on whether or not pursuing an MBA was the right choice for me. I wondered if there were alternate routes (without the price-tag) to the knowledge, network, and experience one gains from attending a top graduate business program. I wanted it all - to develop meaningful relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, to immerse myself in a rigorous learning environment, and to access the range of opportunities an MBA provides. The challenge was that I needed to stay in my job – I’m an operations professional working in facilities management and planning in higher education.
Ross’ Weekend program has been the perfect fit. It’s checked all the boxes, and the on-the-job experience my peers bring to the classroom has been a major asset. I find myself applying lessons learned in class at my workplace, then returning to class a couple weeks later with lessons to share from my career. Ross has challenged me to think deeply about the way successful institutions operate. It’s made me aware of the ways business can influence social change, and has connected me with a community that will be a part of my life for years to come.
I’m happy to answer any questions you might have about the Ross Weekend MBA program. Go Blue!
