After graduating from Indiana University with an undergraduate business degree, I started my career in Customer Business Development at a large CPG company. While I was passionate about CPG, I realized that a career in sales was not a long-term fit. Contemplating my career move, I evaluated what excited me in past roles and organizations. The common thread I found was people - whether that was mentoring, developing, or recruiting. Thus, I moved into a Human Capital Consultant position for four years before starting at Ross. I mainly focused on change management for CPG companies and solving the 'people problems' of a business. My desire to obtain an MBA centered around gaining experiences I could not gain in my current role - things like exposing myself to many people with different ways of thinking, travelling and gaining a global perspective, and honing my leadership skills. Offerings Ross provides such as MAP, the Sanger Leadership Center, and its diverse class made me confident it was the right place for me. Feel free to: ask me about living in the Midwest, nerd out about CPG companies, or tell me your punniest joke!
