Class of 2024

Born and raised in Louisville, KY, I started off my career as a process engineer in the Kentucky Bourbon industry after graduating from the University of Louisville with a degree in Chemical Engineering. There, I was heavily invested in renewable energy research, specifically biofuels and biomass conversion. In 2019, I found myself working at an engineering, procurement, and construction consulting firm specializing in oil, gas, and chemical industries as a process design engineer. This work laid an important foundation for me in terms of technical design thinking. In 2021, I found myself overseas on a Fulbright Research Scholarship to the United Arab Emirates for environmental work, and I realized my life’s goal was to one day create my own startup doing impactful work akin to the work I was doing as a Fulbright. I was drawn to Ross because of the compelling quality of their alumni with whom I spoke during the school selection process, and because of my initial perception of Ross’ MBA program atmosphere. I am so glad to have been proven correct. I have found some amazing friends in my journey thus far—a supportive camaraderie that I believe can only be forged in the Ross environment.
