Class of 2024

Hometown: Miami, Florida

Hey there, future Wolverines! I'm Nicole, a Senior focusing on strategy and technology and operations. Originally from Miami, Florida, I was drawn to Michigan after attending the Ross All-Access Weekend. Meeting inspiring student ambassadors and learning from world-class faculty during seminars left me awe-struck. Now, as an ambassador myself, I'm truly humbled to pay it forward! These past three years at Ross have been nothing short of amazing, blending top-tier business education with an unforgettable college experience.

Being a first-generation student with limited exposure to business, I worried about keeping up. But Ross erased those doubts! The collaborative environment, coupled with boundless resources, ignited my passion for positive business. And the opportunities? Oh, they're endless! My first semester alone, I joined APEX Consulting, Michigan Investment Group, and Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity. From consulting a fashion start-up to analyzing investment strategies, I was exposed to hand-on learning experiences from the gecko. As I started gaining an interest in Tech, I was even able to gain a paid opportunity as a Business+Tech Program Lead, in which I lead a variety of cross-campus programming, research on tech trends, and strategize the adoption of business technology throughout Michigan.

Ross also provided numerous opportunities to enhance my leadership schools. I became President of the Ross Latino Association and Vice President of my sorority, honing my skills alongside empowering peers. And guess what? Utah's MO330 Leadership Expedition topped my list of cool experiences. Picture this: navigating Utah's canyons, learning self-leadership, and checking off 5000+ feet climbs from my bucket list!

But that's not all. This past year, I seized an exceptional opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, Spain, immersing myself in a full Spanish course load while exploring Europe's beauty. Michigan's support even took me to Buenos Aires, where I worked with nonprofits, diving deep into growth marketing and NGO strategy. Real-world business dynamics met community development, and I couldn't be more grateful.

Michigan isn't just a school; it's become my home. The opportunities and people here have shaped me in unimaginable ways. I'm excited to give back and share my journey with you all. Don't hesitate to reach out—I'm here and thrilled to connect! Go Blue!

What do you enjoy doing outside of class time?: I love to karaoke, dance, and have recently started taking trapeze classes!
