Having grown up in Palo Alto, CA, I have a long-standing interest in the startup scene. In hopes of breaking into the tech ecosystem, I majored in Computer Science at the University of Southern California. After a couple years of engineering schoolwork and internships, I found that I was more interested in the business aspect of technology than the actual technological aspect of it. Upon graduating from USC, I was looking for a place to develop a tangible business and accounting skill set, and the MAcc program at Ross seemed like the perfect place to do so, offering a blend of course flexibility and quality instruction.
I began my investment banking recruiting cycle with no prior banking work experience; as such, I was required to learn all of the technicals from scratch. Ross was instrumental in my success, offering me everything from a tremendous alumni network to technical peer coaching sessions.
