Graduating from Purdue University in 2014 with a Bachelors in Economics, I started off my professional career working for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles within their finance organization. After Chrysler, I took an opportunity at The Wendy’s Company in Columbus, Ohio where I held several finance roles. These roles varied quite a lot, from your standard FP&A to pricing to marketing strategy. From Columbus, I was given the opportunity to work at a SaaS company in Chicago and currently work there as a Manager in the Strategy & Insights department.
All these experiences helped put into perspective where I wanted my career to go and how I wanted it to look and it was clear to me that an MBA was the way to make that vision come to life. I realized that I enjoyed working on a variety of projects that span more than just FP&A, that I enjoy flexibility and autonomy, and that I want to have the opportunity to learn and work in a variety of industries. I knew that I wanted to pursue my MBA at the University of Michigan but was unsure of which program would be the best fit for me. Given that I wanted to continue working and love the role and industry I’m currently in, I decided to pursue a part-time program. From there, matching my career vision of flexibility and autonomy, I decided to join the Online MBA program. I’m very happy to be part of this great community and attending this great school. Go Blue!
