Richi Kanu

Prior to Ross, I studied engineering at Michigan and worked in IT consulting doing enterprise level implementations for a variety of industries. After about 5 years in this industry, I decided I wanted to work in an industry where I am able to help companies when they are in an earlier stage of their development. Most recently, I interned with a Venture Capital firm that does both fund of fund and direct investments. Given my dual citizenship between the US and Nigeria, I want to fund founders that are helping Nigerian infrastructure progress. I chose Ross because of the community and the variety of opportunities. I wanted an MBA program that would expose me to individuals that were at the top of their field in as many fields as possible. Ross students have shown that they are extremely willing to collaborate while still retaining focus on their goals and it has been a great experience so far.
