Rishika Ramireddy

Prior to Ross, I lived in Austin and Chicago, and worked at a late stage cybersecurity start-up. During my time working at a start-up, I had secondhand exposure to the types of decision making needed to grow a business and I developed an interest in understanding how these decisions were actually made, from a strategic and economic point of view. I applied to business school to build general business acumen, develop my managerial skills and expand my professional network. I am planning to pivot into strategy consulting, and when selecting a program, I prioritized one that had a strong reputation for consulting, offered action based learning opportunities, and a flexible curriculum that allows me to study areas I am passionate about. Ross offers all of this and probably the most important asset of all - an incredibly supportive, vibrant community that empowers me to be my best self. Fun fact: I grew up in Ann Arbor and also went to the University of Michigan for undergrad.
