During my undergraduate studies as an Applied Mathematics student, I enjoyed utilizing quantitative thinking to address real-world challenges. Hoping to further understand opportunities in this space, I joined Deloitte as a Consultant where I gained project experience in improving the procurement acquisition lifecycle, leading a telematics implementation, and contributing to white papers on the challenges faced by global health supply chains. The application of analytical thinking to drive these business improvements resonated with me and solidified my interest in the supply chain space. After exploring graduate degree opportunities, I believed that the Ross MSCM program would provide me with the tools and insights to drive impact in the supply chain industry, while offering hands-on learning opportunities and preparing me to be a business leader. My favorite things about the Ross MSCM program is the commitment to action based learning and the diversity of the cohort. The case based learning style and Supply Chain Consulting Studio course give us the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real world problems, preparing us to make an immediate impact in our careers. The diversity of our cohort has allowed me to learn so much from my classmates' unique experiences! I found the Ross CDO to be very helpful, especially during the career boot camp where we learned resources and tips to help in our career search. The advice the CDO provided about how to network with connections and alumni was very helpful in my career search!
