I am an international student from China. I came to the U.S. when I was 13 years old. The reason I like Michigan Ross is that it offers opportunities for students to develop the foundations of business fundamentals and to take electives that connect to their interests. What I like most about the Master of Supply Chain Management program so far is the diversity, not only of the students in the class, but the diversity of the entire program. The students all have different backgrounds and work experience. Because of the teamwork, I have a more international perspective. This diversity within the program offers different perspectives of courses and has allowed me to learn more about the supply chain. I like how Ross even has an international student coach whose aim is to help international students within the Career Development Office (CDO). Ross provides extensive career development guidance through career clubs, activities and coaching. It is helping me in achieving my short-term goals, which are to join a company like Amazon or Wayfair. Additionally, the Ross Alumni Association has many connections in not only domestic, but also international alumni clubs.
