I was pre-med in undergrad and did not see a sustainable career for myself practicing medicine. I applied to the Michigan Ross Master of Management program to connect my background in science to the field of business in hopes of working on the business side of the healthcare industry. My Ross degree has helped me land my first position in healthcare software project management! My favorite thing about the MM program is the community. I was unsure of what Ross would be like coming from LSA, but I’ve met the friendliest students and faculty here. The relationships I’ve built in this program are the best I’ve had at Michigan. I utilized the Career Development Office (CDO) advisors to help me apply for jobs and to navigate what I was looking for in a career. Professors are also a big help in building a network and making recruitment connections.
