Taylin

Class of 2024

Minor: Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture

Hometown: Painesville, OH

Hello, everyone! It's so exciting that you are interested in Ross and U of M! My name is Taylin and I am a senior concentrating in Marketing as well as pursuing a minor in Spanish. I'm from Painesville, OH, a suburb of Cleveland, and I am a first-generation student as well as a Chinese adoptee.

I first got into business through my high school's business club, and I fell in love with Ross after visiting during the summer of my junior year of high school. I could imagine myself taking classes at Ross, studying at the Union, and hanging out with friends in the dining halls. Ross and UM simply had a different atmosphere from any of the other colleges I visited, and in the end, that's the reason I applied and am here now.

So far, I have had the amazing opportunity to learn from business professionals and interact with a vast, diverse network of driven students like me. Furthermore, I can say from firsthand experience that the support system here at Ross and UM is top-notch. Therefore, I would recommend Ross and UM to anyone who wants to know that they'll be supported and cared for by their school and peers.

If you made it through reading all of that, thank you for your time, and I hope to see you around campus in the future! Good luck, and as always, Go Blue!
