Hometown: Bloomfield Hills, MI
Hi everyone! My name is Virginie and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan. I’m from Bloomfield Hills, MI and am pursuing a dual degree in Business through Ross and Chemistry through LSA, with a minor in Math. For me, Ross was the perfect school to truly explore my varying interests and get a real-world experience to prepare me for my future. I’ve loved being able to explore my different passions and getting encouragement from those around me to do so. The BBA curriculum is extremely supportive of pursuing your passion, and I’ve loved my time so far as a dual degree student.
Ross is much more than just a school, however, and it extends farther than it’s curriculum. Ross is a culture of motivating one another, caring about one another, and helping one another. At the epicenter of the Ross curriculum is collaboration, and that extends outside of the classroom. All the clubs and student organizations within Ross are full of individuals who are willing to help you get where you want to be. I have loved having the opportunity to get involved at Ross, as well as outside of Ross, and it excites me to see how these relationships will continue to grow throughout the next few years.
I’m so excited that you are interested in coming to the Ross School of Business. Coming here was one of my best decisions, and I can’t wait to share my experiences with you! Feel free to email me or drop-in to office hours to ask me any questions about the BBA program, or just to chat about my time so far at Ross!
