Introduction to Commercial Read Estate Finance --- This course is an introductory commercial real estate finance course, designed to pick up on the specific fundamentals covered in Finance 320 along with applying the Time Value of Money concepts, ratios and the Discounted Cash Flow valuation methods from Finance 300. A new Excel spreadsheet will be introduced at each class session to coincide with the text and lecture topics. Several guest speakers will complement the theoretical aspects of financing, development, and risk and return with updates on the current commercial real estate marketplace. Much of the class is interactive via case studies related to class topics.
