Technology Management --- Technology management is critical to success and competitiveness within the tech industry and beyond. But many firms struggle in adopting, managing, and governing complex digital assets. This course focuses on tech management, defined as the ability of non-technical managers to effectively lead development and operation of complex digital systems. We will learn and apply several conceptual frameworks underlying tech management that focus on value generation, alignment, technology trajectories, and underlying economic principals. In sum, this survey course will expose students to timely and timeless concepts and serve as a foundation for enhanced tech management capabilities and more specialized learning.
