People Analytics and Evolving Approaches to People Operations --- Data and analytics are transforming how organizations make all people-related decisions, including finding, growing, and keeping employees, developing exceptional managers and teams, and even completely redesigning how work is done. Leaders and managers in every function of an organization must become familiar with the key tools and insights People Analytics can provide, and Human Resources professionals need to prepare to lead organizations toward these data-driven insights. Students will learn about leading edge practices in People Analytics and how successful organizations like Google, Patagonia, Unilever, and top public school districts and nonprofits, are leveraging People Analytics. The course will involve working with data sets but the goal is for students to develop high-level leadership skills to design, implement, and analyze data in a way that leads to real insights and change in an organization.
