Matteo Crosignani's research lies at the intersection of financial intermediation and monetary policy. He studies the effect of unconventional monetary policy and macroprudential regulation on credit supply, financial stability, and asset prices. His papers were awarded the ECB Young Economist Award and the Macro Financial Modeling Group (Becker Friedman Institute) Dissertation Fellowship. Prior to joining the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, Matteo was an economist in the Division of Monetary Affairs at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, DC. He obtained a Ph.D. in Finance from NYU Stern with previous degrees at the London School of Economics and Bocconi University.
