Phil Brabbs is returning to UM after starting here on campus as an engineering undergraduate (IOE) and a student-athlete (football). Since graduating, Phil spent time at Accenture, as a consultant, and Thomson Reuters, as a Product Manager. The last 10 years, Phil co-founded two successful tech start-ups, the most recent company (Torrent Consulting) was recognized by INC as one of the fastest growing companies in the country in their annual publication. In 2017, Phil was named EY Regional Finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year. Most recently, he has taught Digital Product Design at UM before joining Ross. Phil desires to make a positive impact on faculty, students and industry by finding ways to innovate business through new technologies. On a personal note, Phil is a cancer survivor, an obvious Michigan Football supporter and enjoys mentoring students.
