Can I sit in on a class?
Yes. Applicants are welcome to sit in on a class. Class visits are typically scheduled during on-campus Preview Day events.
Do I have to take the GMAT?
No. The GMAT is not a requirement of admission to the Michigan Ross EMBA Program. Candidates whose backgrounds do not demonstrate proficiency in basic quantitative and analytic skills may be required to take a quantitative skills assessment test prior to admission.
Is an interview required?
Yes. You are encouraged to schedule your interview during on-campus Preview Day events. Preview Days are typically held on Fridays and Saturdays during class residencies at both Ann Arbor and Los Angeles campuses.
While on campus during these events, you also have the opportunity to observe a class, have lunch with students, and meet with admissions staff and faculty. If you are unable to attend a scheduled Preview Day event, interviews can be conducted Monday-Friday during regular business hours.
Admissions interviews may be conducted prior to or after a completed application has been submitted. You may request an interview by sending a copy of your resume to the EMBA Admissions Office at email@example.com or by requesting an interview during registration for a Preview Day event.
What can I expect in the interview?
Interviews are approximately one hour and are conducted by one or two members of the admissions committee. Dress is business formal. During the interview, you should be prepared to discuss your professional history, current level of responsibility, and personal and professional reasons for pursuing an Executive MBA at Ross.
When will I be notified of a decision regarding my admission?
Application decisions are made within four to six weeks from the date of completion and are communicated via email and/or U.S. Mail.
Can I apply to the Executive MBA and another Michigan program during the same year?
No, you may only apply to one program at Michigan Ross during any given admission cycle.
Where do I send my official transcripts?
Official transcripts can be sent to the Executive MBA admissions office once you have started your application.

Can I reapply to the EMBA program if I wasn't previously accepted?
Yes. Reapplication procedures are streamlined if you reapply within one application cycle of your originally submitted application. If you reapply after that time, you must submit a completely new application and supporting documents. Reapplication procedures are as follows:
- Complete an application form and pay the application fee.
- Submit an updated resume.
- Submit one recommendation letter. You may choose your original recommender, but the recommender must complete a new recommendation that reflects your performance and achievements since your original application was submitted.
- Submit a letter to update us on your achievements and goals since your original application. Upload the letter with your updated resume.
- You do not need to send transcripts that were submitted with your last application. We still have these on file.
- OPTIONAL: You may choose to answer one or more of our current essay questions.
