Achieving the goals we have set will require major investments in three key asset areas: students, programs, and faculty. For that, we look to those who share our vision and believe in our mission.

This campaign offers every Ross graduate the opportunity to be part of an audacious and crucially important venture in business education. What we achieve together will have an impact on the world of business—and the world in general—for decades to come.

Specifically, your support will enable us to:

Enroll and Empower the Best Students

We must eliminate the economic barriers that stand between us and our top applicants. Endowed scholarships for BBA and MBA students will help level the playing field with our well-funded competitors and make it possible for the best and brightest to attend Michigan Ross. The result will be a richly diverse learning community that benefits students, faculty, and alumni.

Launch and Support Key Programs and New Initiatives

As a central element of our strategy, we will sustain and enhance key elements of the signature Ross Experience. Primary among them: our boundaryless approach to problem solving, our focus on analytically rigorous, evidence-based decision making, and our delivery of action-based learning on a large scale.

In addition, we will significantly increase funding for leadership development initiatives, entrepreneurship training, global learning, and centers of excellence. We will deepen and accelerate our campus-wide collaborations in domains ranging from sustainability to operations management. And to maximize gains, we will make these value-added opportunities available to all students across all degree programs.

Attract and Retain the World’s Best Talent

It takes extraordinary teachers and mentors to train extraordinary business leaders. Endowed professorships will enable us to compete successfully for distinguished faculty and ensure that Ross continues to be a magnet for leading scholars and researchers. We will also make forward-looking investments in our junior faculty—the thought leaders of tomorrow—by providing support and professional development opportunities that promote high-impact teaching and research.
