Round Two Decision Notifications Coming Mid-March, and An Update on the Waitlist

Happy March Madness! We’re excited about basketball here in Ann Arbor and March is also an exciting time for the Admissions Team.

With Round 1 deposits in, we’re beginning to see what the Class of 2021 will look like. We couldn’t be more excited about the wide range of experiences and perspectives these students will bring to Ross in the Fall. Among the students who will be joining us at Ross are:

  • An innovation specialist for Halo Top Creamery (yum!)
  • A business analyst for Banco Popular in Puerto Rico
  • A regional marketing strategist from Uber in Mexico
  • A fitness and wellness entrepreneur and CEO from Ukraine
  • A co-founder of a Google-sponsored app from India

Many have graduate degrees ranging from social work, public health, sports management, public affairs, sociology, engineering and law.

Why You Should Apply in Round 3

Some of our most successful students and alumni applied in Round 3 or were admitted from the waitlist. Knowing this, we save room in the class to ensure that we can admit great candidates in Round 3. The deadline is March 18th. Check out our Round 3 admissions webinar to get tips from the team on putting together a compelling Round 3 application.

Round 2 Decision Notification Dates

The team finished reading apps earlier this week and is now deliberating over how to shape the class. These are some tough decisions! But we’ll be done in time to call U.S. admits on March 13 and international admits on March 14. All Round 2 decisions will be released at 12PM EST on March 15.

An Update for Those on the Waitlist

The team re-reviewed all Round 1 waitlisted apps with the Round 2 pool. If you’re admitted, you’ll receive a call on the same schedule as Round 2 admits (see above). If you don’t receive a call, it means you are still waitlisted or denied. You should log-in to Wolverine Access to check your status on March 15. We will reach out to all waitlisted candidates remaining on the waitlist in April with an opportunity to provide any updates. We’ll review waitlisted apps again with the Round 3 pool.
