You are responsible for your own transportation to/from Detroit Metro Airport.
Detroit is a Delta airlines hub, but it is also served by most major airlines. It is a 30-minute drive from U-M campus.
We recommend booking a seat on the AirRide/Michigan Flyer, which offers one-way fare of $12. The bus picks up/drops off at the Blake Transit Center near central campus (about a 15-minute walk from Ross) and the Kensington Court Hotel on the south side of town.
As an alternative, taxis from the airport to Ann Arbor typically cost $50-60.
There are a number of hotels in Ann Arbor. A few are within walking distance of campus; some others offer shuttle service.
Some hotels in the area offer shuttle service to campus. Taxis, Uber and Lyft, and the local bus system are also available.
Casual attire is appropriate for your visit.
Prior to arriving at Ross, we highly encourage you to reach out to current students who share your career and club interests.
If you would like to schedule a meeting with representatives from Michigan Ross centers and institutes while you are on campus, contact them directly.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. in the Graduate Admissions Office, 700 E. University, Kresge Hall, Room 1521, Ann Arbor.
Students are on campus September through April, but please note there are breaks and exams in October, December, and late February.
We recommend that you attend a Visit in Person session, but reach out to [email protected] if those dates do not work with your schedule.
Please note that there is limited availability outside of Visit in Person sessions.
