Forbes’ CMO Forum is Coming to the Stephen M. Ross School of Business
The event will feature marketing executives from some of the world’s top companies discussing how companies can survive and thrive in the midst of disruptions
The Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan announced the next installment of Forbes’ CMO Forum. The event will take place on Saturday, April 7, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Ross School of Business.
The 2018 CMO Forum, “Marketing 2020: Harnessing Disruption for Business and Brand Growth,” will feature panel discussions from top marketing executives, who are also Michigan Ross alumni, and focus on how organizations can continue to grow and thrive despite recent disruptive changes in the business environment. With the rapid evolution in data, technology, and changing consumer needs and expectations, companies are constantly seeking new ways to stay ahead of the curve.
This event is part of Forbes’ series of forums at leading business schools where CMO and CEO alumni visit their alma mater to connect with faculty and students for an idea exchange.
Michigan Ross is an especially appropriate venue for this forum, since the Marketing Area at Ross is ranked #2 for its undergraduate and #4 for its graduate marketing programs by U.S. News and World Report (2018), and is also ranked in the top 10 among all Marketing Departments for its research productivity in premier marketing journals.
“We are very excited to host the CMO Forum at Michigan Ross,” said Rajeev Batra, Sebastian S. Kresge Professor of Marketing at Michigan Ross and faculty lead of the Michigan Ross forum. “Whether they are an entrepreneur or joining an established company, everyone is facing the same challenges and opportunities created by these massive disruptions. We hope that by hearing first-person accounts from these very successful Ross alumni, attendees will gain knowledge and insight – and be inspired – about how they can leverage these disruptions for business and brand success.”
